THE SALTY STORY

THE SALTY STORY
(A Story That Inspires Our Name — The Salty Design)

In a distant kingdom, a king had seven daughters. One day, he asked each of them how much they loved him. The eldest six compared their love to honey, sugar, and other sweet things. But the youngest daughter simply said,
"Father, I love you as much as salt.

The king was furious. Salt? Something so ordinary? In his anger, he banished her from the kingdom.

The abandoned princess wandered into a mysterious palace, where she discovered a prince cursed with sharp needles all over his body. Moved by compassion, she began to remove the needles one by one,

Over time, she brought in a servant girl to help with chores. But when only a few needles remained—especially near the prince’s eyes—she warned the servant not to touch him. The servant disobeyed, removed the last ones, and took all the credit. When the prince awoke, he believed her and married her. The real princess, the one who had healed him, was cast aside.

A kind woodcutter who had seen everything told the prince the truth. Realizing his terrible mistake, the prince found the real princess, begged forgiveness, and married her.

At their wedding, the king was invited. But all the food served to him lacked one ingredient—salt.

Only then did the king understand: Without salt, even the sweetest feast tastes empty. And without truth and depth, even the brightest design lacks soul.
